Look at the following image of Echo and Narcissus

Write:

  • Type a paragraph (3-5 sentences) on your blog making an inference about this image. Support your inference with text evidence from the picture and the myth that we just read (a quotation). Explain how your text supports your inference.
    • Example: The man in this image represents Narcissus from the myth. In the picture, the man is obsessively staring at himself, just like in the myth where it says he "cannot move, for so he marvels at himself, and lies with countenance unchanged..." (paragraph 407). By not noticing the beautiful, half-naked woman next to him, I can infer that this is Narcissus because he can only see himself and his own beauty.
